Walking for Wildlife Weekend - June 13-14, 2009

    Saturday, June 13th  events :

a)  Leave No Trace Workshop - Sponsored by Hike Nova Scotia
     1:00 pm at Jack Pine Trail, Cape Breton Highlands National Park
     Registration is limited to 25. There is no fee, however, you need to register online

b)  An Introduction to Geocaching workshop - Sponsored by Cape Breton Highlands National Park 
     4:00 pm. - 5:00 pm. Black Brook Beach, Cape Breton Highlands National Park
     Registration is limited to 25. There is no fee, however, you need to register online

c)  Presentation - "Canadian Sea Turtle Network ", 7:00 pm. at Keltic Lodge


     Sunday, June 14th events:

a)  Cabot Trail Walk and Fun Run - $5.00 Individual, $15.00 per team (max. 5 to a team)
     Registration - 9:00 am. - 10:00 am. at entrance to Warren Lake. Event begins at 10:00 am.

b)  Coastal Hike - Starts at Black Brook - $5.00 Individual
     Registration - 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm. at Black Brook Beach.  Event begins at 1:00 pm. 

c)  Lobster Supper 4:00 pm. - 6:00 pm. St. Andrew's Parish Hall, Neil's Harbour. $12.00 per personThe W
