What does your registration fee
include ?
your festival pass, all
guided hikes, opening &
closing ceremonies, evening
presentations, bonfire at
White Point, a bottle of
water & granola bar for each
hike and your National Park
Pass if you purchased both
together

Why do I need a National
Park Entry Pass ?
A national Park entry pass
is required for use of all
facilities in the national
park, including hiking
trails. Almost 2/3 of
the guided hikes in this
years hiking festival are
in the Cape Breton Highlands
National Park.
Your National Park
Entry permit fee goes toward
maintaining Cape Breton
Highlands National Park
Facilities including the
hiking trails as well helps
protect the ecological
integrity
of Cape Breton
Highlands
National Park.
NOTE:
Hike the Highlands Festival
has a special rate for a
National park entry pass but
only if you purchase from
our organization.

If I have a national park
entry pass, or do not
require a national park
entry fee pass ( hiking on
trails not in the national
park) , can I purchase the
hike the highlands festival
pass separate ? Yes, you
can purchase a Hike the
Highlands festival pass
separate if you have a
national park entry pass or
do not require one.

How do I register on-line ?
Before you start,
you should first
write down on paper the
dates you are coming as well
the hikes you would like to
do. Next determine what pass
you want to purchase
combined Hike the Highlands
& national park pass or hike
the highlands pass.
Now you are ready to
register.
a) step 1
click on
pay online. Our festival use
the eventbrite online
registration system
with paypal.
b)

2 - decide what
pass you want then go to the
quantity column decide the
number
of passes. Us e
the arrow key and pick the
number and highlight it with
your mouse.
c) step 3
-click on the icon you are
going to pay with visa,
mastercard etc.
d)
step
4 -complete billing
information, then click on
review order & continue
button
e)
step
5 -
if everything looks
in order, click pay now.
f)
you will receive 2
e-mails, one from paypal and
the other from eventbrite
verifying you have paid and
it has been received. Print
both e-mails off for your
records.
g)
step
6 - Go back to
registration page of Hike
the Highlands festival and
complete step two select
Hikes. Click on the link and
complete form and click on
submit button at the end.
h) Congratulations you have
now complete the online
registration process.
i) You will pick up your
pass(s) at the Heather room,
Glenghorm Beach resort,
Ingonish

a) print off the
brochure.

b) complete the registration
form
- determine the pass
you want to purchase and
check off the hikes you want
to do
c) Mail in the completed
form and your register fee
cheque or money order
payable to
Hike
the Highlands Festival

d) If you have an e-mail
address on your registration
form, we will e-mail you
acknowledging receipt of
your registration form and
fee.
e) You will pick up your
pass(s) at the Heather room,
Glenghorm Beach Resort,
Ingonish
